Join us at Loowit Brewing in downtown Vancouver on July 10 for a presentation by local author Rand Schenck. 

Rand’s book Forest Under Siege: The Story of Old Growth after Gifford Pinchot explores 100 years of forestry practices in the Pacific Northwest with a particular focus on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. His book offers his perspective on the decades of stewardship, the period of relentless harvest, and the move toward the rebirth of old growth. Mingle with CFC staff from 6:30 to 7:00. Rand will begin his presentation at 7:00 with a discussion to follow.
