Volunteer

MAKE A DIFFERENCE • MEET NEW FRIENDS • LEARN ABOUT YOUR REGION

The generosity of people who choose to spend occasional weekends working out in the forests, meadows, and waterways of the Cascades is a huge part of what makes many of our science and restoration programs possible. Anyone can join CFC’s community of volunteers and become a part of impactful science and restoration projects throughout the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

rent equipment from the
cfc gear library

We strive to ensure every volunteer has the equipment they need to participate safely and comfortably while in the field. Equipment can be rented free-of-charge from the CFC Gear Library.

Volunteers who would like to request the use of outdoor gear while working with CFC are invited to submit a request once they have selected and registered for the volunteer opportunities they will attend.

everyone makes a difference

Anyone—regardless of age, ability, or income—can make a lasting positive impact in the Cascades. In addition to joining us in the field, volunteers help at our Vancouver, WA office, at our annual Auction & Gala and other events, and more. To learn more about how you can get involved in the way that best meets your needs, email us at info(at)cascade forest.org.

thank you 2022 volunteers!
