KIM FREEMAN

Director

Kim Freeman fell in love with the Pacific NW after college and moving to Portland in 2023 to start her career as a veterinary oncologist.  She has owned her own veterinary practice, served on professional boards and is excited to join the CFC board. She loves spending time in the forest, mountains and on the coast with her partner and dogs.  She is an avid hiker, backpacker, mushroom forager, dog lover, reader, and ballet dancer.  As someone that has spent her career being a voice for those that cannot speak for themselves, she finds herself deeply caring for the environment that hosts us all (non-human and human animals).  Habitat preservation and conservation are essential for all of us.  She has volunteered with CFC for several years on wildlife camera projects, rebuilding beaver habitat and training her dog to find Herb Robert.  She is honored to learn more and be more involved in CFC’s work and success.
