Bob Robison

Director

Now retired, Bob spends as much time as possible in the solitude of the forest.  He is an active volunteer with both CFC and the US Forest Service.  Before retirement Bob’s career was in public administration, working on issues as diverse as community mental health, safe transport of hazardous and nuclear waste, and support for victims of crime.  “If I’ve learned anything in my work, it is that the solution to public policy disputes is to reach out with respect to understand everyone’s point of view.” As a volunteer, he hopes to bring that ethic to preserving the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, where he restored a historic cabin adjacent to Trapper Creek Wilderness.
